In lieu of a traditional yearbook, Willow Grove Primary School is once again celebrating our students’ creativity by self-publishing a novel of student writing! This is the second novel published by Willow Grove Primary School, following the success of our first book.

Students from all year levels have worked hard to create their own stories and accompanying illustrations. Throughout the process, students have planned, drafted, edited and published their writing. Seeing their hard work come to fruition in a professionally published book is a rewarding experience and a wonderful opportunity for students to celebrate their achievements.

We hope this initiative will continue to be a valued tradition at Willow Grove Primary School. By publishing a novel every second year, families can build a special collection that chronicles their child’s writing journey throughout their primary school years.

Families also have the opportunity to purchase additional copies, making the novel a wonderful Christmas gift for extended family members, particularly grandparents.

To keep costs affordable for families, the books are not being sold as a fundraiser. The price covers the cost of printing, freight and online ordering
fees.

We anticipate distributing the books in the second last week of term, just in time to share this special achievement with family and friends!
