Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2025 school year.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Willow Grove Primary School.
All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2024 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2025 school year.
You can find information and resources about the timeline, including factsheets and a poster at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). You can also download the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers’ from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available from 15 April 2024).
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2025 at Willow Grove Primary School from 15 April 2024.
Please note that Willow Grove Primary School uses the enrolment form as a dual enrolment/application form.
What you need to do:
Parents/Carers may also be required to complete additional forms as required by our local School Council Policies.
Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July 2024 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
When a Victorian government school student has been accepted at another Victorian government school, the transferring school will provide the student’s information to that next school. Parents/Carers are not required to complete a new enrolment form.
After accepting a transfer, Willow Grove Primary School will issue Parents/Carers with a Student Enrolment Information Form. Parents/Carers will be asked to make any corrections to data on this form to ensure the information we have received from the transferring school is correct and up to date.
When a student transfers to Willow Grove Primary School from a non-government school or from inter-state, Parents/Carers will be required to undertake the full enrolment process.
If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please download and complete the enrolment form below (including supporting documents), and email them to willow.grove.ps@education.vic.gov.au. Alternatively, you can request a paper form from our school office by calling 03 5635 2271.
